04 / Access labels

Beach access labels, written precisely

Each resort card uses one of six entry labels. They describe how you reach the water and what the seabed feels like underfoot, not how close the hotel sits to the coast.

Direct sand beach
Sand begins at the hotel boundary. No road, no stairway and no promenade sit between the lobby and the shoreline. The easiest option for toddlers who walk slowly and for parents pushing a stroller twice a day.
Private pier
A timber jetty crosses a shallow shelf and drops you into deeper water. Good for snorkelling and stronger swimmers, less good for a two-year-old who wants to dig at the waterline.
Lagoon entry
A sheltered basin with knee-deep water and a soft floor, usually separated from the open sea by a sandbar. Calm on most days, but check the tide chart before planning an afternoon there.
Across promenade 180 m
You cross one paved promenade and walk a measured distance to the sand. We state the metres so you can judge the stroller route, the shade and how much water you carry back.
Pebble beach
Rounded stones instead of sand, clearer water and less wind-blown grit. Water shoes are worth packing, and the entry slope decides whether small children can manage it alone.
Platform access
Steps or a fixed platform lead from the hotel terrace into the sea. Shade and drinks are close by, but the ladder entry needs a confident swimmer in the family.

Labels describe typical summer conditions. Seabed, lifeguard cover and entry depth shift after storms, so confirm the current state with the hotel before you pay a deposit. Read the full tag guide on the resorts page.

May to September: when the UAH budget actually works

Indicative bands for a family of three, seven nights, half board to all inclusive. Türkiye and Egypt run about one season step apart, so the same budget buys a calmer beach entry and a shorter transfer in May than in August.

Egypt₴ 55 000 – 72 000

Warm sea, low-season club hours.

June

Egypt₴ 66 000 – 84 000

Book kids-club places early.

July Peak

Egypt₴ 88 000 – 112 000

August Peak

Türkiye₴ 104 000 – 134 000

Egypt₴ 92 000 – 118 000

Highest rates, longest queues.

September

Türkiye₴ 78 000 – 96 000

Egypt₴ 70 000 – 90 000

Sea stays warm, prices ease.

05 — Method

How we check before we recommend

jobseararch.com is an independent research desk. We are not a tour operator, booking agent or official tourism body, and we take no commission from the hotels we list.

  1. 01

Beach access is measured, not described

We read the hotel site plan and satellite imagery, then label the entry as direct sand beach, lagoon entry, across promenade 180 m, pebble beach or platform access. Walking distance is stated in metres. See the beach tag guide.

  2. 02

    Amenities are flagged until confirmed

Kids-club age ranges, waterslide height rules, crib availability and babysitting are collected from published hotel facts and recent guest reports. Every family amenity on this site is marked confirm with the hotel before you pay a deposit.

  3. 03

Prices are planning bands, not offers

Month-by-month figures in UAH are indicative ranges for two adults and two children, built from seasonal averages. Availability, flight cost and room type can move them, so treat each band as a sizing tool for your budget.

Something in the ledger looks wrong for your dates? Tell us the resort, the month and your children's ages, and we will re-check the entry. Request a shortlist review.

09 / Shortlist

Ask for a shortlist review

Send the month, the budget ceiling in hryvnia and the ages of your children. The reply lists three resort rows that name beach access and transfer minutes instead of brochure slogans.

  • Beach entry: direct sand, lagoon, pebble or platform access
  • Kids club age ranges and crib availability, flagged to confirm with the hotel
  • Indicative price band for your month, never a final offer

Planning support only. We are not a tour operator or a booking agent.
